Terms of use and service
How our website, contractor tools and custom digital builds work, and what you can expect when buying from Smart Profit Hub.
Last updated: 6 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Smart Profit Hub is operated by Daniel Spurgeon, a sole trader trading as Smart Profit Hub. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Daniel Spurgeon trading as Smart Profit Hub.
Email: hello@smartprofithub.io.
Business contact address: flat 25 st andrews house, charmouth, dt6 6fn
2. What these terms cover
These terms cover use of smartprofithub.io and purchases of Smart Profit Hub contractor tools and custom digital services. They also apply where a Smart Profit Hub tool expressly links to these terms.
A separate project or service may have its own terms. A shared domain, subdomain or hosting account does not mean every project has the same features, prices or contract.
Before you order, we will identify the service, its price, what is included and any applicable service-specific terms. An agreed written project specification forms part of your custom-build contract. Nothing in these documents overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Contractor tools
Our contractor tools assist with organising and reviewing the records you provide. Their scope and current price should be checked on the relevant service page and at checkout.
- Renewal Pack: £997 as a one-off purchase. An organised document ZIP with a cover sheet and index. It is a snapshot of the supplied records, rather than an ongoing document-management service. Read about Renewal Pack .
- Renewal Room: £1,997 initial charge plus £197 per month. An ongoing workspace for maintaining renewal documents and preparing updated packs. Read about Renewal Room .
- Missing Bills: £1,497 as a one-off purchase. A report flagging work that appears completed but may not have been invoiced. You must confirm the work, billing status and amounts. We do not raise invoices in your name or invent prices. Read about Missing Bills .
- Claim Pack: £1,497 as a one-off purchase. An organised pack of supporting records for additional work. It is not a payment notice, legal assessment or guarantee that a claim will be accepted or paid. Read about Claim Pack .
Outputs depend on the records supplied. Classification and identification of possible missing information are assistive, and may require correction. You must review each output before sending it to a broker, bookkeeper, quantity surveyor or another recipient.
We do not guarantee insurance cover, broker acceptance, recovered revenue, payment of a claim or detection of every missing document or uninvoiced item.
4. Custom websites, shops, apps and business systems
Custom projects are scoped and quoted individually. Before work starts, we will agree a written specification covering the deliverables, price, payment stages, expected timetable and responsibilities.
The specification should also explain the included revisions, review process, handover arrangements, ownership and licence rights, and any hosting, maintenance or third-party costs.
You are responsible for supplying the agreed content, information, access and feedback. Delays in receiving those materials may affect the timetable. We will discuss material changes to timing with you.
Additional pages, features, integrations or revisions outside the agreed scope require a written change agreement. We will explain any additional cost or timetable change before carrying out the extra work.
Launch, support and maintenance are included only to the extent stated in your project agreement. A custom build does not include unlimited ongoing changes.
5. Prices and payment
Before you commit to a purchase, the checkout or written quote will identify the total payable, applicable taxes, payment schedule and any recurring charges or separately payable costs.
Domain names, hosting, software subscriptions, paid extensions and external services are included only where expressly stated. We will explain required third-party costs before you agree to them.
Payment stages for custom work are agreed in writing. Any deposit and its treatment on cancellation must be explained before payment. A deposit is not automatically non-refundable.
If a quoted price differs from a general website price, we will make the agreed price clear before accepting your order.
6. Renewal Room subscriptions
Renewal Room has an initial charge and recurring monthly payments. The checkout must explain when monthly billing starts, whether it renews automatically, any minimum commitment and how cancellation affects access.
To request cancellation, contact hello@smartprofithub.io using the email associated with your account. An account cancellation option may also be used where provided. We will confirm the effective cancellation date and any outstanding payment.
Cancellation stops future renewals from the effective date. Any access remaining, refund entitlement or minimum commitment is governed by the terms disclosed when you subscribed and your applicable legal rights.
An overdue subscription may result in a pause to uploads and pack downloads. We will notify you of the payment issue and explain how to restore access.
Keep copies of your original records and downloaded outputs. Before cancellation or closure, check how to export material you need and what retention arrangements apply.
7. Your files, content and account
You must have authority to provide the files, personal data and other materials you upload or ask us to use. Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and only supply material relevant to the agreed service.
You retain rights in your own materials. You permit us to process and use them as necessary to provide the service, subject to the agreed scope and applicable data-protection arrangements.
Keep account credentials secure. Do not upload unlawful material, malicious software or content that infringes another person’s rights, or use the service to mislead recipients or fabricate evidence.
You remain responsible for keeping your original documents. A tool or workspace should not be treated as your only backup.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Where a service requires us to process personal data on your behalf, the appropriate data-processing terms must be agreed.
8. Ownership and third-party services
Ownership and reuse rights for a custom project are specified in its written agreement. The agreement will identify what is transferred or licensed to you, and when that takes effect.
Third-party platforms, software, fonts, images and other components remain subject to their own licences and terms. Using a component in your project does not transfer ownership of that component to you.
Some projects depend on external hosting, payment services, application platforms or integrations. We will identify material dependencies in the project agreement. Their providers control their own availability, prices and terms.
We do not promise uninterrupted access or compatibility with every future third-party change. This does not remove our responsibility to deliver the agreed service or any applicable legal remedy.
9. Problems, cancellations and refunds
Contact us promptly if a service is unavailable, an output is incorrect or the work does not match the agreed specification. Include the order or project details and a description of the problem.
We will investigate and provide the remedy appropriate to the contract and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include correcting the work, repeat performance, a price reduction or a refund.
If a contractor tool cannot produce the purchased pack or report and we cannot resolve the failure, we will refund that product purchase. This commitment does not limit any other legal rights you may have.
For business purchases, change-of-mind cancellation is governed by the agreed contract. For custom projects, any cancellation charges must reflect the agreed terms, work carried out and applicable law. We will explain the calculation.
Where UK distance-contract cancellation rights apply to a service, the usual cancellation period is 14 days from entering the contract. If you expressly request work to start during that period, a proportionate charge may be payable for work supplied before cancellation, where the legal conditions are met.
A right to cancel a fully performed service or digital content supplied immediately can end only where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied, including any required express consent and acknowledgement. Agreement to these general terms alone is not a substitute for those steps.
Where applicable, cancellation information and a cancellation form will be supplied before purchase. You may also cancel by sending a clear statement to our contact email. Nothing in these terms removes rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or inadequately performed services or digital content.
10. Professional advice and responsibility
Smart Profit Hub provides digital tools and development services. We do not act as your broker, insurer, accountant, quantity surveyor or solicitor.
Organising insurance paperwork is not arranging insurance. Preparing an evidence pack is not legal advice. Seek the appropriate professional advice where your decision requires it.
We do not guarantee sales, search rankings, advertising performance or commercial success from a website, app or tool.
11. Liability
We remain responsible for obligations and liabilities that apply under the contract and the law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Any additional limitation agreed for a business project must be set out in that project’s written agreement and comply with applicable law. It does not automatically apply to other services.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not exclude your statutory rights or impose a blanket cap on remedies available to you by law.
12. Complaints
Send complaints to hello@smartprofithub.io. Explain the service purchased, what went wrong and the outcome you are seeking.
We will acknowledge the complaint and investigate. If more information is needed, we will explain what is required and provide an update on the next steps.
13. Changes to these terms
The version supplied or agreed when your order is accepted applies to that purchase, unless a later change is lawfully agreed. Updating this page does not automatically rewrite an existing contract.
For ongoing services, material changes will be communicated before they take effect, together with any applicable cancellation rights.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not remove mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply to a consumer in their place of residence.
